Cheeky monkey simply describes people who have an answer for everything. They like to always have the [last] word. It is hard to argue with that type of person. It's their way or no way. (cheeky)
I joined a little beginner orchestra and one of the other cellists tops/refutes/counters/questions everything I say! What the heck?! It's going to come to fisticuffs.
