Having never had to look for a job before, I must say it's an awful lot of effort with uncertain results. I mean, I knew that but never experienced it. Sheesh. By the way, did you know you can join the airforce until age 47? I think I would like a highly structured life with few decisions--regarding my own life, that is. I know I would need to make decisions about others', hahaha! Travel opportunities, clothing provided, great benefits, what's not to love?
Went to a Puerto Rican restaurant last night and had Mofongos. It was starchy, delicious and fried. I think I ate the equivalent of like 5 deep fried plantains, that can't be good!

Girl, I am in the same boat. I have been looking for a new job for a bit. It has been incredibly frustrating and humiliating. I have been wanting to do something along the lines of quality or case management. I often can't get beyond the application, but if I do get an interview, I usually don't get hired. If they are interested in hiring me, they don't want to pay me what I currently make.
ReplyDeleteAargh!
Obedience and prayers haven't even helped. I give up!
Are you still working in SDS? Yes, the nursing job market isn't what it used to be.
ReplyDeleteStill in SDS. I want a day job with potential for raises again. Been maxed out toooo long!
